What We Do

• Counseling We provide free telephone-based,
  comprehensive foreclosure prevention counseling
  to homeowners through our Credit Counseling
  Resource Center (CCRC)
• Education We educate consumers, lenders,
  government agencies and nonprofits about negative
  affects of foreclosure
• Information Resource We provide information and
  data to assist stakeholders in taking critical
  action and making sound policies to reduce
  foreclosures
• Facilitation We enhance relationships between
  stakeholders and stimulate dialogue among
  mortgage industry leaders to address foreclosure
  issues
• Research We fund research to better understand
  foreclosure issues and more effectively target
  counseling services
