• Hit the Print Screen button to copy your desktop.

• Open Microsoft Photo Editor by going to Start
  ?All Programs ? Microsoft office tools ?
  Microsoft Photo Editor (diagram next slide)

• Go to Edit ? Paste as new image

Cropping the excess blue space

• Select the SELECT tool from the Toolbar

• Click and drag the box around the space that you
  want to keep, you would like to throw away about
  half.

Cropping

• Now go to Image ? Crop

• And then a box will appear.
• Once the box appears just hit OK.

You do not have to change anything!

Smudging

• Make your desktop image larger by going to the
  drop down box with all the percent numbers and
  make it 100.

• Now click on the smudge tool

• And smudge the icon that says My Computer.

Chalk and Charcoal

• Now go back to the select tool and click on it.
  And then select the Recycle Bin.

• Go to Effects ? Chalk and Charcoal

Just click apply

• A Box will appear and then click apply and an
  effect will appear on the recycling bin.

Note Paper

• Just like in the Chalk and Charcoal effect go to
  the select box but this time select Microsoft
  FrontPage.

• Go to the select tool and choose the Microsoft
  Word Icon.

Helpful Terms that you didnt see before

• Resizing (image)- Change the image size to
  whatever is desired.
• Ruler (view)- If you choose ruler you can view
  the image size while you are working.
• Edge (effects)- Shows you the edge of an image.
