- Inquiry Capability
- Allows users to enter a search criteria and then
query information from various state systems. - Event Messaging
- Data Exchange Capability
- Utilizes the secure JNET messaging infrastructure
to move data between justice agencies. - Notifications
- Allows for immediate notification of significant
events to a predetermined list of subscribers. - Secure communications
- Provides encrypted and digitally signed e-mail.
- Application Hosting
- Provides ability to easily deploy web
applications to all or subset of JNET users
utilizing the secure infrastructure of the JNET
network

- Had 14 counties trying to integrate systems
limited success - Had pressure from counties to be involved in
JNET - Made the 14 county group the county voice in
JNET - Added another 16 counties who expressed
interest - Paid for connectivity to the state leveraged
DPW lines where possible - Utilized Byrne Grant funding to fund hardware
50/50 and innovative ways to utilize JNET
