Role of Prime Minister

• Defines the resolution in a meaningful and
  debatable manner.
• Presents a case for the resolution as defined.
• For example
• Ill
• Blame
• Cure
• Cost

Role of Leader of Opposition

• Refutes or otherwise responds to the case as
  defined by the Prime Minister
• Briefly outlines new arguments against the case
  as defined by the Prime Minister
• These new arguments typically focus on the
  negative costs or consequences of the
  Governments policy

Role of Member of Government

• Responds to refutation of the Prime Minsters
  case.
• Refutes or otherwise responds to arguments raised
  by the Leader of Opposition

Role of the Member of Opposition

• Continues the refutation of the Government case
  as introduced by the Leader of Opposition
• Reestablishes the new arguments as presented by
  the Leader of Opposition

Role of the Leader of Opposition Rebuttal

• Summarizes the debate according to the point of
  view of the Opposition team
• Includes reestablishment of important parts of
  the new arguments presented by the Leader of
  Opposition Constructive
• Includes review of refutation of part or all of
