• Research Development Areas certain provisions

• Teaching and testing activities
• Technically qualified person
• MSDSs must be made available to employees in RD
  areas

Hazardous Substance Survey Form - HSSF

• List of all hazardous, special and environmental
  hazards in the workplace with identifying CAS
  Numbers
• Must be updated annually by April 1
• Must be posted in the workplace
• Cannot complete without MSDSs for products in the
  workplace cross reference to PA HSL

Material Safety Data Sheet

• Documents prepared by chemical manufacturers,
  suppliers, distributors
• Used to determine if a product is regulated
  (contains substance on PA list) and should be
  listed on the HSSF
