Century Russet (A6789-7 x A668-5)
Uses Fresh Strengths Very high yield long
tuber, resistant to early dying Weaknesses
Medium to low specific gravity light russet
netting dark fry color from 45o storage
susceptible to shatter bruise pointed at stem
end sometimes difficult to set skin susceptible
to tuber infection by early blight highly
susceptible to Fusarium dry rot susceptible to
Rhizoctonia can produce green heads.

Cherry Red (ND4750-2R x ND 626)

• Uses Fresh
• Strengths Dark red color smooth
• WeaknessesSusceptible to black leg, silver scurf
  and rhizoctonia buff skin will exihibit growth
  cracks and hollow heart will exhibit extreme
  color fading if not harvested soon after vine
  kill tubers somewhat flat.

GemStar Russet (Gem Russet x A8341-5)

• Uses Dual purpose
• Strengths High yield, good culinary quality
  resistant to second growth, growth cracks, and
  stem end discoloration moderate resistance to
  blackspot and shatter bruising immune to PVX,
  resistant to common scab and powdery scab
• Weaknesses High level of susceptibility to
  hollow heart susceptible to late blight, PLRV,
  dry rot, soft rot, and ring rot extreme
  susceptibility to PVY

• Strengths Resistant to hollow heart high
  resistance to common scab high field resistance
  to late blight moderately resistant to
  Verticillium wilt
• Weaknesses Susceptible to early blight and
  viruses S and X growth cracks in heavier soils
