Title: RISK
1_at_RISK
2Advantages of _at_RISK
Modeling Inputs Easy access to many
distributions visual gallery Easily incorporate
correlation between input variables. Fit
distributions to your data BestFit
program Modeling Outputs Easy statistics
averages, stds, percentiles, histograms, tornado
graphs (distribution/cumulative), sensitivity
analysis, scenario analysis RiskSimTable(value1,
value2,value3value n)gives n replications of
the simulation by changing a parameter of
interest to optimize the parameter.
3Basic Steps
- 1. Build the Spreadsheet Model by defining the
distributions for inputs. - Risknormal(), riskdiscreet(), risktriangle(),
- 2. Formulate the performance measure in terms of
the inputs and decisions. Define it as an output
for _at_risk in the following way - Riskputput() formula
- 3. Define Simulation setting number of
iterations, number of simulations - 4. Define Reporting Settings .. _at_risk reports and
Excel reports. - RUN Simulation.
- Simulation Results / graphs / sensitivities are
kept in _at_risk Results You can reach all reports
from the tool bar. - Go to the _at_risk model sheet and left click on the
output item on the left. You can get graphs and
stats of the output performance easily.
