Title: Product Programming Switches
1Product Programming Switches
Echoflexs products are a combination of unique
transmitters and controllers/receivers that need
to be learned to each other. The intelligence of
the solutions are in the controller/receiver,
while the transmitters send data turn off or on,
temperature, Light level, humidity etc. The
process for learning a switch to a
controller/receiver takes seconds TO PROGRAM
THE SWITCH TO THE CONTROLLER, PLEASE FOLLOW THESE
DIRECTIONS INSTALL THE CONTROLLER AS PER THE
TECHNICAL INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED. USING A PEN
HOLD THE CLEAR BUTTON DOWN UNTIL THE UNIT STARTS
TO CYCLE. YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO HEAR THE
RELAY.PUSH THE SWITCH ON SO THAT THE CONTROLLER
RECEIVES THE SIGNAL. THE CONTROLLER WILL ENGAGE
IN THE ON POSITION. WAIT UNTIL THE UNIT BEGINS
CYCLING AGAIN. DO NOT ACTIVATE THE TRANSMITTER
AGAIN THIS WILL UNLEARN THE TRANSMITTER. REPEAT
3 AND 4 UP TO 30 TIMES OR PRESS LEARN TO STOP THE
LEARN PROCESS. THE CONTROLLER AND SWITCH(S)
SHOULD NOW BE PROGRAMED TO EACH OTHER. TO
PROGRAM ADDITIONAL SWITCHES PUSH THE LEARN BUTTON
UNTIL THE UNIT STARTS TO CYCLE AND GO BACK TO
3. (EACH CONTROLLER CAN LEARN UP TO 30
SWITCHES). TO UNLEARN A SWITCH, PUSH THE LEARN
BUTTON AND ONCE THE UNITS STARTS CYCLING, PRESS
THE SWITCH AND WAIT. ONCE BACK INTO CYCLING MODE
PRESS LEARN AGAIN TO STOP PROCESS. THE SWITCH
SHOULD NOW BE UNLEARNED BY THE CONTROLLER. THESE
INSTRUCTIONS ARE ALSO PRINTED ON THE SIDE OF THE
CONTROL UNIT.

2Product Programming Solar Magnet Contact
The STM250 is a solar powered device, please
expose to light before using.
- To program the STM250 to the receiver
- Remove the back panel of the module to reveal
- the forced transmission button.
- Place the controller into program mode by pushing
-
- While holding the magnet at the side of the unit
- push the activation button.

3Range Planning
It is very important to plan switch and sensor
position in relation to receivers. Building
materials, office furniture, and angles through
walls can all decrease transmission distances.
RF transmitter distance Metal parts, e.g. in
connection with reinforcements to wall and
ceiling elements, metal foil in damp barriers of
UV/color Filters through metal foil will all
reflect, distort, or suppress the RF signal on
its way to the receiver.
Penetration Rates for commonly used building
materials Materials Penetration Distance Wood
, plaster and glass without Surface
foil 90-100 30m through max 5 walls Brick,
MDF, and chipboard panels 65- 95 20m through
max 3 walls Concrete Reinforcement 10-80 10m
through max 1 ceiling/wall Metal, aluminum panels
etc 0
Angles The angle at which the RF signal hits the
wall has an effect on the field strength. The
ideal angle is a right angle.
