History
  • Pluto was actually found by Clyde W. Tombaugh in
    1930.
  • Ancient Romans believed that the planet Pluto
    was the god of the dead and the keeper of the
    underworld. He lived on the darkest planet
    Pluto.
  • After Neptune had been discovered in 1846, people
    began thinking that what if there was a ninth
    planet. Neptune and Uranus had been moving right
    and thought astronomers worked on finding the
    ninth planet. Percival Lowell was the leader of
    this search and finally someone discovered it!

  • Plutos mass or weight, is1/500th of the Earth.
    Its diameter is 1/6th of Earth.
  • Pluto is 3,670,050,000 miles from the sun.
  • The temperature is -360F on Pluto. The
    gravity is 1/13th of Earth.

    moons is Charon.
