- over 80 training events
- 186 persons already participated in the project
from all around Lapland - 154 belong to school staff
- over 2400 people have attended the film

Kitisenranta School is participating in two
international film education projects during
2004-2007
- Comenius 1 School projects
- partnership schools from Poland, France, England
and Italy - aims to develop pedagogical methods and learning
environments - aims to transfer good practises, methods and
materials

- partnership schools and associations from Italy,
Germany, Spain, Finland, France, Netherlands,
Romania and Ireland - Aims
- to communicate between pupils

- 45 pupils study film education as voluntary
subject - classes for the 7th, 8th and 9th grade pupils
- also film projects on different school subjects
(e.g.) - religious classes
- history classes
- music classes

- Sodankylä profiles as a film oriented region
- teacher training project provides resources and
materials for high quality film educational work
also in the future - outcomes of the project will work as examples to
similar activities in Finland
