What is WTFH?
FREE
  • A healthy lifestyle program
  • Increase physical activity
  • Improve nutrition intake, including 5 a Day
  • Tools to manage stress
  • Tobacco Use and Exposure
  • Vehicle Seat Belt Restraint / Car Seat Safety

Who can participate?
  • Women, 18 to 44 years of age

Facilitated in English or Spanish
Why this target group?
  • Grant funded program from ADHS
  • The state identified this target group has much
    to gain from a program addressing chronic disease
    risks

Where are the classes?
  • All communities in Maricopa County
  • Our facilitators come to your site
  • Example sites
  • Work sites (Medtronics, Banner Health)
  • Community sites (St. Vincents, YMCA)

Class Details
  • There must be a minimum of 10, a maximum of 20-25
    participants to start a class
  • Classes are offered Monday Thursday, morning,
    midday, afternoon, and evening
  • Your choice of a 8-week class for 1.5 hours/week
    or a 12-week class for 1 hour/week

  • Site Coordinator / Contact

  • Marketing your class(es) (flyers provided)
  • Sign up sheet (provided)
  • Childcare (if applicable)

  • Two facilitators for the program (registered
    dietitian and health educator)
  • All class materials
  • All equipment (unless provided)
  • Participant incentives
  • Childcare reimbursement (for the site)
