Scanning Process

• Place your object inside the scanner
• Complete the calibration process (set-up)
• Enter scanning and reconstruction parameters on
  the
• scanner control console
• Energize the X-Rays and begin CT scanning
• Object makes a 360 degrees full rotation in
  precise steps
• - X-Rays penetrate through the
  object
• - Detector acquires CT images
  (projections) at each step of rotation
• - Each image is stored as a raw file
  and transferred to the reconstruction
• engine for image reconstruction
