Image XChange

• Image XChange is a quick lookup component for the
  image enablement of Line of Business
  Applications.
• Quick Access to documents within SmartSearch
  without manual execution of the application
• Integration without integration No need to code
  anything uses existing Folder and Stored Search
  structure.

Using Image XChange

• The user clicks the Image XChange icon in
  the system tray, and a list of Image XChange
  defined searches is displayed
• The user selects the default search they wish to
  utilize
• .

Using Image XChange

• The user can now run that search against data
  within any application by simply pointing to it
  with the cursor and entering ltCTRLgt RIGHT CLICK
• If the defined search has a single field prompt,
  it will automatically be run
• If the search has more than one prompt, the
  search dialog will be displayed along with the
  selected data. User must select the OK button to
  receive results

• Once executed, a results grid with the matching
  documents is presented
• Note Optionally, documents can automatically
  load rather than displaying the results grid

• The user selects the documents they wish to view
  and thethem viewer opens
• Full SmartSearch viewer functionality is
  available including, print, email, launch and
  image enhancement..

Using Image XChange

• To release the license the user must exit the
  results grid
• ImageXchange is always active, and will execute
  the checked query
• The default search will remain active until the
  user closes Image XChange
• To run a different search, simply select the
  Image XChange icon in the system tray and select
  from the available searches

  deliveries, executed contracts without the added
  steps of opening SmartSearch

  management software with a simple click of the
  matter number
• Warehouse Management View pick tickets or
  packing lists from your ERP solution.
• Medical Access EOBs or referrals directly from
  your Electronic Medical Records application by
  selecting the EMR number or patient name..
• Education Direct access to Transcripts,
  Permanent Records, PPTs, IEPs or 504 plans from
  the student records database.

Image XChange Technical Requirements

• Image XChange is sold and installed as a
  standalone , client side application.
• Using Image XChange requires that SmartSearch be
  installed on the client PC.
• Image XChange will permit image enablement with
  virtually any application including Windows, Web,
  DOS and Terminal Emulators
• Use of the application will consume a SmartSearch
  license until the results screen or document
  viewer is closed.
• SmartSearch authentication will be enforced
  through single sign (Active Directory) or through
  login screen.
