Total points possible 20 Description 1. Eleven
groups will be formed and each group will consist
of five students. You may form groups among
yourselves. YOU MUST HAVE FIVE MEMBERS. Once
assigned, the assignment will be permanent.
There will be no group hopping. 2. Each group
will choose a topic from the list on the next
slide. See warning concerning the content of
the Orwell 1984 content on slide 3, before
choosing. a. All group members must do research
on the topic chosen. b. A single five-to-seven
page single-spaced paper will be written.
You must cite sources within the paper and have a
reference section at the end. You must follow
the style at this URL, which is the APA (American
Psychological Association) style. For more
information, use a Google search. NOTE SEE THE
CLASS WEB SITE FOR THE EXAMPLE ARTICLE BY DR.
SCANLAN. c. Each group will present a 10 minute
PowerPoint presentation on your topic and it will
be graded by Dr. Scanlan. d. It is up to each
group to fairly distribute the workload to its
members. Anyone not performing at an
above-average level, will get a zero for this
project. Your group will decide your performance
level. e. All members of a group will get the
same grade unless, a member does not perform at
an above-average level.

uTube. WARNING This video has several nude
scenes and has sexually explicit scenes. In
addition, the video has extreme
violence. This video should be rated
R. Choose another topic if you object to the
