• Integrate a component of technology into 1 (one)
  lesson during the 3 week November Practicum
• Draw on the resources identified during the
  October IT Inventory Process
• Collaborate with your Associate Teacher in
  looking for a logical opportunity to allow IT to
  support your teaching experience

• Students in lab or classroom interacting with
  computers / software
• Using a data display (projector / TV) to present
  lesson component
• Using software to produce activity handout(s)
• Crossword, wordsearch, concept mind-map,
• Tape Recorder, video, graphing calculator

• What to submit for Assessment
• Completed Nipissing Lesson Plan detailing the
  activity / lesson
• Completed Reflection
• Include information to address what worked what
  did not work why obstacles encountered coping
  techniques what to differently if attempted
  again
• Evidence
• Something to indicate that the lesson took place
• Digital photo, software file (powerpoint),
  completed student exemplar (computer file or
  scanned), AT note
• Submit materials when you return to NU in
  December (e.g., week of December 5 to 10).

• If you encounter a barrier and are unable to
  integrate (e.g., associate is anti-technology,
  school resources are limited, subject is not
  practical dance, physical education sports),
  please complete the following
• Download and read the article Barriers to

• complete the Alternative Assignment -
  Integration of Technology into Education
• Submit the assignment during the week of December
  5th to 10th
