Creativity is

• Creativity is not just art or music, something
  else to tick off in our plans for Tuesday
  afternoon. It is not even an ingredient to add to
  the curriculum diet but the inspiration and
  motivation integral to the process of learning.
  In fact it is the underpinning and expression of

What do we need to do?

• Create an environment within the classroom which
• encourages imagination and originality
• makes time to reflect critically
• allows space for thinking and choice
• gives freedom to fail with the confidence to
  try again.
