Report Property
How is property reported and which method should
I use?
  • In batch
  • On line

3
Batch vs On Line
  • Batch
  • Hundreds of item records can be batched and sent
    as a single file
  • Excess records must be on a property management
    system
  • Agencies must develop a program to format their
records to conform to GSAXcess layout
  • Transmitted by FTP
  • Processed during the GSAXcess nightly cycle
  • On Line
  • Generally sent one or a few records at a time
  • Each item must be entered on a screen
  • On line screens format data to conform to
    GSAXcess layout
  • Transmitted over the internet
  • Processed real time
