19- Hugh Hammond Bennett Chapter Benefits 2004-2005
- New HHB-SWCS members joined and participated
in the activities. Other professional
organizations were exposed to SWCS. (Forestry,
CPESC registrants, Professional Engineers of - North Carolina, Wildlife Experts)
- The June 2004 Meeting attendance was 110
registrants with professional development hours
provided to 70 attendees. The 2004 Annual Meeting
Profit was 2861.59 due to Sponsors, Vendors,
good attendance and the Silent Auction. The
profits were donated to Envirothon, the Resource
Conservation Workshop, the Smithsonian project
and the Aquaculture Conference. - The April 5, 2005 Seminar attendance was 55
attendees plus 7 program presenters. The profit
was 248.56. The profit was used to make repairs
at the Hugh Hammond Bennett home site in Anson
County during the April 16, 2005 work day. - The May 10 Erosion Control Seminar had an
attendance of 160, plus vendors and exhibitors. - The Chapter Awards banquet had an attendance
of approximately 75. - Two workdays were held at the Hugh Hammond
Bennett home site. 23 Chapter members
participated in helping with the two workdays. - Membership during the 2004-2005 Chapter year
totaled - 5/27/2004 169 members 9 Associate 178 total
members - 5/20/2005 170 members 23 Associate 193 total
members
