2What is it?
- An electronic version of the printed Course
Calendar normally produced by your Secondary
School. - Designed to assist students in course planning
and selection. - Courses can be viewed by School ,Subject and
Grade. - Links to additional information.
- Board and Ministry of Education expectations,
policies and requirements can be viewed as
desired.
3How will it work with Course Registration?
- The Electronic Course Calendar (ECC) replaces the
print copy of the Course Calendar only! - Students will still complete a school based
(paper) course registration form. - The ECC will provide students with a printout of
the planned courses they wish to select, which
can be used to complete the school specific
registration form.
4What is the Benefit of an ECC?
- View from anywhere - School, Home, Public
Library, etc. - Ease of use.
- Consistent information.
- Save trees - about 900,000 pieces of paper
(approximately 10,000 print copies, 90 pages
each).
