- TI, a nonprofit educational organization, has
been working for more than 80 years to provide
for this need and help people conquer their
pre-speech jitters. - Goal offers a proven way to improve our
communication skills. - Become the Speaker and Leader You Want to Be

in approximately 90 countries. - In Korea (only 6 clubs are open to all)

5History of DTC
- Founded by Eugene Kim and Jo Cho in Summer 2003.
- founding members still present at DTC.
- Alan C. England, CTM and Ken Ohlen, CTM.
- Started to have meetings in the Room, WooRiByul.
- Elected the first president Ken Ohlen, CTM,
Summer 2003. - Has produced 9 presidents and more than 40
officers. - Has produced 9 CTMs or CCs (Competent
Communicator) Certificate from headquarters. - Has a regular meeting in Creative Learning
Building at KAIST - 730 to 9 PM, every Monday at KAIST
- DTC members
- 38 members registered in Toastmasters
headquarters. - (membership is renewed every 6 months)

- DTC members and any guests without registration
- What do we do at the meeting?
- Every role is taken by volunteering before the
meeting - Three conductors (one leader of meeting, two
leaders of session) - More than 8 speakers, More than 6 evaluators

- Produced outstanding members 5 CTMs and 4 CCs
- Two ACB candidates Alan CTM, Ali CC

- Won the first Korean speech contest on 27th May
2007 in HongIk University. - Who joined this contest

DTC is not only the pride of KAIST, DTC is the
pride of Daedeok, Daejeon, DTC will be the pride
of S. Korea, Soon
Our members will be the next Bill Gates, the next
Steve Jobs and the next nobel prize winner, due
to what they will have learned from DTC.
