Board Representative
  • Represent the 1st year class
  • Serves the mission of enriching the Kellogg
    experience by representing student interests
  • Responsible for ensuring two-way communication
    between KSA Board and section.
  • Serves on at least one standing committee,
    reporting to either a VP or the President.
  • Attends all KSA Board meetings

CMC Rep
  • This individual serves on the CMC Committee of
    the KSA.
  • Communicating deadlines and recruiting procedures
    to individual sections
  • Developing new initiatives to meet student job
    search needs  (last year - independent job
    seekers and international student focus)
  • Representing student concerns and ideas to the
    CMC staff

Academic Rep
  • Serve as a liaison between students, faculty, and
    administration
  • Be involved in curriculum committee, grading
    policies, professor evaluations, and academic
    rigor
  • Functioning as contact point for students
    academic concerns
  • Help roll-out policies and procedures to improve
    the academic experience at Kellogg

Global Affairs Rep
  • Serve on the KSA Global Affairs Committee.
  • Own and drive specific projects to build upon our
    three key objectives
  • Build and Promote Kelloggs Brand
    Internationally.
  • Improve US Career Opportunities for Intl
    Students and Intl Opportunities for all
    students.
  • Nurture Leaders at Kellogg with Global
    Perspectives.
  • Be the point of contact for international
    questions/issues from all students in section.
  • Drive communication with section about global
    affairs to broaden the entire student bodys
    global awareness.

Technology Rep
  • Responsible for working with KIS and the KSA Tech
    Committee to address all aspects of technology as
    they relate to student life at Kellogg.
  • Represent student needs concerning software,
    computing, web sites and tools, and tech
    education.
  • Help execute school-wide technology initiatives
    and provide strategic input for long-term
    planning.
  • Select one new initiative to improve Kellogg. Own
    the initiative and drive it start to finish with
    the full support of the KSA.

  • The Alumni Rep sits on the KSA Alumni Committee
  • The focus of the Alumni Committee is to
    formalize, intensify and facilitate interaction
    between alumni and students in Kellogg
    activities, courses and conferences.

  • Kellogg Alumni Mentorship Program
  • KAAB break-out discussion sessions
  • Reunion TG
  • New strategic initiatives

  • Social Chair responsibilities focus around events
    for your section and the entire school

    executing events for your section for the entire

    Business With A Heart (BWAH) member programs
  • Organizes at least one Section-sponsored charity
    or service program during the year
  • Supports various Section service competition

Rules
  • Students may run for only one position, except
    for Board Reps (if they lose, they may run for a
    section rep position).
  • Campaign expenses are limited to 35
    (non-reimbursable). Receipts are required and
    must be delivered to Kevin Hoos mailbox by
    deadline date. Donations to be assessed at fair
    market value.
  • Votes will be tallied by KSA ExecCom and the
    numerical ranking of the results will not be
    disclosed.

Rules cont.
  • No smokin or spittin.
  • Only 1 email may be sent to your section
    listserv! No additional emails are allowed.
  • Web pages and mailbox stuffing are allowed.
  • Postings are limited to bulletin boards on the
    first floor and ground level of Leverone Hall
    only.
  • No campaigning of any kind is permitted in
    classes.
  • If you have any questions whatsoever, please ask
    rather than risk disqualification!!
