A Proud History

• The Tour de Bona Vista
• A proud history starting in 1996
• Over 500 riders have been involved in the Tour
• Over 425,000 raised to date
• Monies raised have gone towards things such as
  100,000 for the Cat Scan and 250,000 for the
  Building Fund Pembroke Regional Hospital

Objectives

• This is the change over year from the old Tour
  de Bona Vista committee to the new Rotary Club
  of Pembroke, Tour de Bona Vista. This year we
  will have
• Between 75 and 100 cyclists.
• 23 corporate sponsors.
• Raise 50,500.
• Proceeds of this years Tour will go towards the
  Pembroke Regional Hospital Dialysis Unit and the
  Building Fund

School Participation

• During the FIRST WEEK OF MAY the School
  Tour de Bona Vista will be held.
• This is the first year that the Tour will have
  the participation of both the Renfrew County
  Public and Separate School Boards (English).
• The focus will be on active student
  participation, including bike riding / walking
  around the outside of participating schools.
• Students will collect pledges.
• Prizes will be awarded to individual students and
  to classes.

A Fun Day, A Great Cause!

• This years Tour will be held on SATURDAY
  JUNE 24th.
• Riders begin at noon in Pembroke
• preceding over the next few hours at a leisurely
  pace
• ending up, around 400 pm, at the Bona Vista
  Campground (located near Cobden)
• A combination after Tour party and fundraiser
  follows, well into the evening.
