Use the magnifying glass to select your academic
career (undergraduate, graduate or doctoral).
Enter the catalog year you will be using to
fulfill graduation requirements. Your catalog
year is usually the term you entered JMU. For
example, if you entered JMU in fall 2006, select
fall 2006 as the catalog year. With the
appropriate permission, you may use a more recent
catalog than when you entered.

Undergraduate students enter UGEN in the program
override field graduate and doctoral students
use the magnifying glass to select your academic
program.
Enter the catalog year you will be using to
fulfill graduation requirements.

Plan Override Use the magnifying glass to
select the major or minor for which you would
like to run the what-if report. SubPlan
Override If you would like to enter a
concentration, use the magnifying glass to select
it from the drop down list. If you do not want
to enter a concentration, leave this and the
Subplan catalog year fields blank.
Enter the catalog year.

Click Ok to run the What-If Degree Progress
Report.

The What-If Degree Progress Report looks similar
to the regular Degree Progress. Scroll down to
the Academic Advisement Report section.

Career Simulation.
The What-If Academic Advisement Report section
will show those requirements not met in red.

Click the Add a Course link to add another
subject and course if you wish to include another
