Background

• As per the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin
  Rashed Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime
  Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, TechnoPark was
  established in 2003 as a science and technology
  park to further enhance Dubais economic
  development, as he said Our regions success
  depends on creating an environment conducive to
  knowledge and on providing tomorrows leaders
  with the motivation to build a better future. It
  is our duty to make them great assets to
  themselves, their nation and to the world.
• In this perspective, the government of Dubai has
  allocated a 21 Million SQM plot of land for the
  project located to the west of Jebel Ali Free
  Zone.

The mission

• To develop technologies (RD) focused on a
  limited number of research areas corresponding to
  major fields of the progress of knowledge and
  technology. With a solving approach activities
  answer to market needs and major socio-economic
  challenges facing the region.
• To deliver services (RD) maximize the impact of
  RD pool all the capacities of the regional ST
  system, and integrate science and technology in
  the economy.
