• Establish a good abatement plan to correct known
  deficiencies

• All work places should be inspected monthly.
• Imminent danger situations shall be brought to
  the immediate attention of supervisory personnel
  for corrective action

Exits and Egress Hazards

• Blocked or improperly planned means of egress
• Exit signs are posted and illuminated

Unsafe/Unhealthy Report(Anymouse)

• Report an unsafe or unhealthy working condition
  at the earliest possible time to prevent an
  injury or property damage

Encourage Oral Notification

Unsafe/Unhealthful Report cont.

• Encourage oral notification to supervisor FIRST
• An employee desiring anonymity may file a written
  report with the safety officer (NAVMC 11401)
• Upon receipt of the report, the safety officer
  shall notify the supervisor
• The supervisor has 5 working days from the time
  the report was received to notify the safety
  officer of the corrective action taken

Unsafe/Unhealthful Report cont.

• Retain copies of reports and records for 5 years
  following the end of the calendar year to which
  they relate
