Background

• It was a rainy night in the first week of
  February in the Year of the Beatles.
• Lady Madonna has just put her four children to
  bed.
• She is my mother.

Setting the Stage

• Her husband of 10 years finishes up his paperwork
  in the den.
• He longs to be a Paperback Writer.
• As he approaches the bedroom he sings softly to
  himself, Love Me Do. He is my father.

The Act

• It was A Hard Days Night but they did Come
  Together.

Victory

• Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da! I am conceived. I am a
  floating blastocyst looking for a wall-home I can
  cling to and call my own.

The Race

• It was an interesting race.
• Millions of Xs and Ys swam the 15 cm. dash to
  the finish line.
• The prize was to create me.

The Runners Up

• In 3rd place was the Y who would have been the
  best hockey player since Gretzky. But alas, he
  only came in 3rd.
• In 2nd place was the X who would have been the
  greatest scientist since Einstein. But she only
  came in 2nd.
• The winner was another X, the stubborn one and
  the one most likely to be a Librarian.

Home Sweet Home

• On my Magical Mystery Tour I find my wall-home.
  
• I celebrate by changing my name to zygote and I
  divide like mad.
• I bet you didnt know I was so good at math.

I Exist!

• I now have another name fetus.
• Mom now knows about me and shes Glad All Over.
• Her ice-cream craving is back. I kick her and she
  gives me some Any Time At All.

Progress

• With 9 months of RR, I should do lots of
  reading.
• But its too dark in here and my eyes dont
  focus.
• Instead, I listen to Mom read about the 3
  Piggies.

Due Date

• My scheduled time of arrival is Halloween
  although this date may be cancelled due to poor
  sailing conditions.
• Nevertheless, it Wont Be Longnow.

Im Here!

• Two weeks pass and Im now overdue.
• The doctor Shouts, Another Girl as my mother
  collapses back onto the bed.
• I receive my permanent name and begin my Long
  and Winding Road to library school. I feel
  fine.
