Event 1Tractor Tire Flip
  • Event CIC Read the following when the knob unit
    reaches your event
  • Knobs, this event is the Tractor Tire Flip. You
will have 7 minutes to complete this task, after
which you will use you time to hydrate and
prepare for the next event. There are four
tractor tires in four lanes, LANE 1, LANE 2, LANE
3 and Lane 4. Your knob unit leader will split
your unit into four even groups and flip each
tire down its designated lane. After the last
tire has made the distance, the entire unit will
complete 20 pushups, yelling together your
company name on the 20th pushup. After you finish
unit pushups, you will return to a 3 cadet front
    formation and hydrate.
  • Event CIC It is very important that the tractor
tires are in the correct place before the knobs
leave. Once they reach the 6 minute mark, their
time is up and they must place the tires in their
finishing positions at the opposite end of where
they started. Once the horn has been sounded, the
knobs must be on their way to the next event.
Utilize excess upper-class to ensure that no
injuries occur and that the tires are in the
correct position before the next group of knobs
reaches the event. Upper-class cadets may
motivate the knobs only, but they cannot
participate in the tire flip. They can, however,
participate in the group push ups. If an
upper-class cadet acts in an improper manner or
interferes with the event whatsoever. COMPANY
COMMANDER YOU HOLD THE COMMAND AUTHORITY FOR THIS
    EVENT.

Event 2Firemans Carry
  • Event CIC Read the following when the knob unit
    reaches your event
  • Knobs, this event is the Firemans Carry.
Upper-class cadets are encouraged to participate
and motivate the knob unit. Your objective is to
pair up with a classmate and assume the proper
fireman carry position. The buddy team will then
move the length of the parade deck. Once that
point is reached the team will switch places, the
carrier now the carried, The carried now the
carrier, and move back to start point. This
event is repeated until the horn sounds.
  • Event CIC Your job as event CIC will be to
ensure proper technique is utilized and every
knob is teamed up. If there is a odd knob out,
one upperclassman may be that knobs buddy. If an
upper-class cadet acts in an improper manner or
interferes with the event whatsoever, they are
done for the day. COMPANY COMMANDER YOU HOLD THE
    COMMAND AUTHORITY FOR THIS EVENT.

Event 3Sand Bag Carry
  • Event CIC Read the following when the knob unit
    reaches your event
  • Knobs, this event is the Sand Bag Carry. Your
unit must transport all sand bags to the opposite
end of the parade deck and back 3 times. No more
than 2 sand bags per person are allowed. If a
knob cannot complete the task, one of his or her
classmates may relieve them of one of their sand
bags. Once the task is completed, or when 7
minutes has elapsed, whichever is first, then the
unit will together conduct 30 side straddle hops.
On the 30th side straddle hop, the unit will yell
    out their company name
  • Event CIC It is very important that the sand
bags are in one pile at he end of the event. The
location of the pile is not important, but the
pile is. Once the horn has been sounded, the
knobs must be on their way to the next event.
Utilize the event excess upper-classman to ensure
that no injuries occur and that the sandbags are
in the correct position before the next group of
knobs reaches the event. Upper-class cadets may
motivate the knobs and participate in the event.
If an upper-class cadet acts in an improper
manner or interferes with the event whatsoever,
they will be removed form the rest of the day.
COMPANY COMMANDER, YOU HOLD THE COMMAND AUTHORITY
    FOR THIS EVENT.

Event 4Log PT
  • Event CIC Read the following when the knob unit
    reaches your event
  • Knobs, this event is log PT. You will have seven
minutes to conduct three Log Exercises. First,
knobs will be split between three logs. No more
than 6-8 knobs on a log at a given time. Those
not on a log at first will assume the flutter
kick position until the other group is done and
they can assume the log. The first exercise will
be 10 overhead presses starting from the right
shoulder and lifting over the head to the left.
The second exercise will be the group sit-up with
the log over your chest. 10 repititions will be
performed. The last exercise will be a 25 meter
sprint to a point, a turn around, and sprint
back. This routine will be repeated until
everyone gets a chance to carry a log.
  • Event CIC Upper-class cadets are not
encouraged to participate in this event, rather
support the knobs. Safety is key here and all
upper-class should aid in making sure the log
never drops or hits/crushes anyone. If an
upper-class cadet acts in an improper manner or
interferes with the event whatsoever, they will
be finished participating for the day. COMPANY
