source of statements made in meetings - Press releases are available from the end of

- On the left-hand side, under Press Releases and
meeting coverage, you will retrieve the press
releases from the latest 2 days, organised in
reverse date order (most recent at the top of the
page).

It is possible to change the number of press
releases retrieved by selecting past 7, 14 or 30
days.

Note that we have chosen to display the press
releases from the latest 7 days. Select the
symbol or headline of a press release to obtain
the full text.

To find earlier press releases use the search
option at the bottom of the page. The database
covers press releases from the end of 1995
onwards.

Use the keyword(s) in headline to search for
keywords in the title. It will not search the
full text. To find press releases with
children in the headline, using the Archives
search, enter the word children into the key
words box.
Remember to enter the appropriate date range
before searching. A calendar will pop-up when
clicking on the date, use the single arrows to
change the month and the double arrow to change
the year. After finishing, click on Find

This search retrieves all press releases on
children, within the selected date range.

To refine this search, select a subject and
option from the drop-down menu on this page may
be combined with the keyword(s). For example,
from the drop-down menu, select Secretary-General
and Statements to retrieve all statements made by
the Secretary-General on Children.

All statements made by the Secretary-General on
children are retrieved (note the symbol
SG/SM). Searches may also be refined by entering
a press release prefix into the Symbol box.

Use Full text search to find words or phrases in
the content of the Press releases. You can enter
one or more words in the Keyword(s) search
box. To find new press releases that mention the
Monterrey consensus in the text or headline,
enter the words in the Keyword(s) search box,
select exact phrase and enter 2006 in the year
box.
