• If you take all three midterms examinations
• and
• you have three absences or less
• I will
• drop the lowest midterm grade and use the other
  two to compute midterm grades

Missed Midterm-exams

• The comprehensive final score will serve as the
  score of the missed exam

Exempt the Final?

• Yes, if you have
• 1) taken all of the midterm exams and,
• 2) turned in all of the assignments
• 3) have an A average

Assignments

• 4 homework assignments
• all assignment due at the beginning of class
• all assignment must be satisfactorily completed
  to pass the course
• 50 late penalty
• 0 after 5 days late

Academic Honesty

• You should not copy or exchange work or files
  with other students.
• All students will neither give each other nor
  receive help on exams and will avoid the
  appearance of doing so.
• Students who violate standards of academic
  honesty will be subject to penalties in
  accordance with University regulations.

• Sept 6 (Wed.) is the last day to withdraw and
  receive a refund.
• Oct. 20 (Fri.) is the last day to withdraw.
