THE STORY SO FAR
  • Core syllabus for UNEB and Cambridge
    International Examinations, (CIE).
  • Tutors monitor academic and general welfare of
    their tutees and have information on performance
    and discipline.
  • Outstanding performances are recognised through
    the award of Achievement Certificates.
  • (d) Extra-Curriculum Programme involving sport,
    clubs and societies. A busy school!
  • (e) Social Calendar

Term 3, 2006 and graduation into S2 for 2007 will
depend on past performances in the 6 examinations
sat in 2006 together with teacher recommendations.

S2 IN THE YEAR 2007
  • (a) Core syllabus continues with a reduction of
    subjects from 17! to 10 the core curriculum!
  • (b) Term 3 Meetings to choose either
  • (i) UNEB O Levels.
  • (ii) CIE IGCSE / GCE O Levels
  • for S3 and S4.

Both sets of Examination courses commence in
January 2008 (S3) and both S4 UNEB O Level and
S4 CIE IGCSE / GCE O Level candidatessit their
Examinations in
  • November 2009

COSTS CIE Courses and Examinations cost more
than UNEB. They require more expensive
equipment, especially for practical science
subjects, resources and support materials.

Having studied either UNEB O Level or CIE
IGCSE / GCE O Level, students will again choose
in S4 whether to pursue UNEB A Level or CIE AS
/ A2

PARENTS COMMITTEE
  • If a small group of Parents of students in S1
    would like to get together and meet periodically
    with the Vienna College Senior Management Team
    they would be more than welcome to form part of a
    Parents Association for the College.
