FY08 Dredging Execution

• 47M in dredging projects 56 projects
• 4.2M cu yds dredged
• 80 of projects were dredged to authorized depth
• 50 of projects were dredged to authorized
  widths
• This illustrates the lack of funds to fully
  dredge to authorized dimensions
• These numbers would have been far worse without
  the regional dredging provisions

FY08 Stakeholder Feedback Results

• Received feedback on 51 of 56 projects
• Some customers praised our communication, others
  asked for improvements.
• Received comments to dredge earlier in the season
  and dredge more material.
• Stakeholders want to be involved in the
  discussion on where to dredge, know who to
  contact, and they also want updated surveys once
  the project is complete.
• Received good feedback on stakeholder meetings
  continue meetings

Response to Feedback Plan for Future Improvements

• Continue to work with the States during planning
  phase in order to press for flexibility in
  environmental windows.
• Establish consistent communication process across
  all three Districts.
• Communicate with stakeholders at the beginning of
  project - provide information on the project and
  schedule, solicit input and participation in
  project planning, provide information on surveys,
  and provide points of contact for additional
  information.
