component of the I-MANAGE Vision, key to
achieving I-MANAGE strategic objectives.

STARS/STRIPES Integration

• Meeting held with BEARS, FCDS, STARS, and STRIPES
  representatives on January 9-10, 2007
• Funds check will be performed in STARS
• Local funds check will be outside of STRIPES and
  STARS
• Procurement de-obligations and modifications to
  obligations will be processed through STRIPES to
  STARS
• STARS will be the master for DOE vendor data used
  by STRIPES for validation prior to contract award
• STRIPES will also use CCR and/or ENCORE for
  validation
• STRIPES will not replace VIPERS or VIAS
