ITC Cost Allocation Proposal

• ITC charged with developing a model for cost
  recovery, including Internet costs
• A study performed to determine the real costs of
  providing each telecommunications service

• Unit Charge - to schools and departments based on
  FTE count
• Extraordinary Use Charge - under development

• TOTAL 7,100,000 in 03-04
• 5,900,000 is central funding
• 3,000,000 is charged to units
• lt1,800,000gt is reduction in voice service
  charges
• Another potential offset - 925,000 in
  department equipment purchases

• Between 25.25 and 27.20 per FTE per month
