• Increased interest in CO2 as a refrigerant
• Additional information added to 2006 handbook
• A new chapter to be written for 2010 handbook
• Primarily used in ammonia CO2 cascade systems for
  low temperature applications (-40F/C and below)
• Hint good topic for local chapter meetings
• Multiple applications in U.S., but more in Europe
• ASHRAE a bit behind the leading edge on this
  topic, but trying to catch up
