CIDA Lesson 2 Objectives for today You will
receive information on the Summative Project
Brief (SPB) You will do a skills audit to
evaluate what skills you are confident with and
which skills you will need to develop. We will
look at a range of websites that will be valuable
to you over the next year. (including
dida-delivered) Today is an opportunity for you
to look at the course and make an honest choice
as to whether or not this is the right thing for
you (because if you want to change then it will
become difficult to make a change)

CIDA Lesson 2 Although I will go through the
project brief with you dont panic you wont be
left to fend for yourself. You must take
ownership of your progress through this course.
That means you working hard. You are expected to
read and understand the work for yourself. The
literature states that AT LEAST 30 hours should
be spent on the brief. So we will probably begin
after half term. You will produce a plan a
lesson by lesson breakdown with deadlines for
various parts of the project that will govern
how your project will develop. (they will be your
lesson plans!)

• (iii) The work that will get you your
  qualification
• Is based upon the Summative Project Brief (SPB)
• Before we begin the SPB we need to work and
  prepare you with some knowledge and skills so you
  can work through the task.
