WHICH STRATEGY YOU USE

• Work on collective matters and then focus on
  individual level

WHY DO YOU DO THIS

• Linking the individual with the collective
• We try to meet the expectations of members
• We want members to stay in the union and we want
  new member to join in
• Union must become the one stable factor in
  members lives
• Our trade union structures are not always good
  for facing future problems

what should we do

• We must expand to a global level, think global
• We need to find a new way of communicating
• Unions should reflect society, also in person, to
  attract young members
• Allow our members to organise, provide the means
  to organise
• For un-employed and employed different programs,
  education, skills

PROS

• Organising projects in Baltic countries
• Create visability for non-members
• Show why it is important to get organised
• Prescribe norms for indian companies (SMEs) in
  cases of OO
• UNI certifications for Indian companies when they
  apply to UNI norms
• Find new ways of organising
• Make us a not to pass party

  employers
• Boost harder use of EWCs directive
• Need legal framework for international
  negotiations
