James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? Aren't all his
sisters with us? Where then did this man get all

After this, Jesus went around in Galilee,
purposely staying away from Judea because the
Jews there were waiting to take his life. But
when the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles was near,
Jesus' brothers said to him, "You ought to leave
here and go to Judea, so that your disciples may
see the miracles you do. No one who wants to
become a public figure acts in secret. Since you
are doing these things, show yourself to the
world." For even his own brothers did not believe
in him. John 71-5

When his family heard what was happening, they
tried to take him away. Hes out of his mind,
they said. Mark 321

Standing near the cross were Jesus mother, and
his mothers sister, Mary (the wife of Clopas),
and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus saw his mother
standing there beside the disciple he loved, he
said to her, Dear woman, here is your son. And
he said to this disciple, Here is your mother.
And from then on this disciple took her into his

They all joined together constantly in prayer,
along with the women and Mary the mother of
Jesus, and with his brothers. Acts 114

Christ died for our sins according to the
Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was
raised on the third day according to the
Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and
then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to
more than five hundred of the brothers at the
same time, most of whom are still living, though
some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to
