International Conversation Through Art!
Mission
Momentus International facilitates a
cross-cultural and international conversation
through art. We bring groups of youth and
artists together to create a continual,
ever-changing, international multi-media art
project, which promotes personal understanding,
global and cultural awareness, peace and
nonviolence, and international communication.
Philosophy
Momentus International is an endeavor to cross
borders ad initiate new forms of conversation.
Our leaders of tomorrow already face the
challenge of encountering new (political, social
and cultural) boundaries. Where borders are
drawn, art has the power to cross them. Art is a
modus to bring youth, culture and country
together, to promote peaceful relations and to
enable creative problem solving

Youth discuss important issues in their lives

Local Artist Serve as mentors to youth

Youth Share Their Voice
Empowering youth to engage their community
In the second week of the Momentus Project, after
the participants have determined their story and
their message, we are giving these youth outlets
to reach out to their community, and engage their
community in discussion. We are seeking
opportunities for our local media to bring our
youth to the community.

• Currently, the youth will be speaking
• On Spanish television and radio stations
  (Univision and Radio Lazer)
• On the Dave Congelton Show
• At the Dana Adobe Heritage Day
• Help our youth share their story and promote
  their performance
• Radio, television and newspaper interviews
• Engage their community in discussion (i.e.
  call-in programs)
