- We will get you registered as instructors and
show you some materials that will help you learn
more about how to use the materials - Well take a quick tour and see the resources
available - To begin, you need an access code card they come
in both instructor and student versions.

8Registering for Mycomplab
- Go to http//www.mycomplab.com
- Normally you would use the access code in the
Instructor access code card however, the wrong
cards were packaged with student books, so we are
using the CourseCompass side (Red cards for
students) not the regular website side (Blue
cards). - Course Compass is their version of Blackboard so
some extra features will be available to us, but
we do not have to use them.

- Choose Register for CourseCompass
- Use this generic teacher code if you have not yet
signed up - Beccqs-clxii-table-overs-fieri-moles
- Fill out the registration form. Later, you will
get a confirmation email. - Once you log in, you will see Mycomplab, with
three main areas across the top of the screen.

- Exchange (teacher sets up classes, assignments
and students upload papers and do peer review) - Longman Writers Warehouse
- Student Bookshelf
- Notice the middle box on the page, by the way.
When you click on a resource, the box contains an
explanation of the resource being selected.

- Provides you with a place to create a class, add
assignments, and set up peer review. - Students upload papers and then review each
others work. - May be something you will want to play with this
semester and put into practice in the Spring. - There is an instructors manual you can download
with details.

- Get signed up for Mycomplab
- Download the instructors manual and resources
- Spend some time exploring the site
- Choose a couple of things to incorporate this
semester and get some feedback the plagiarism
tutorial and research navigator, for example, and
then get your students signed up. You can add
more next semester.
