What is a collective agreement
All agreements in writing regarding working
conditions and terms of employment, concluded
  • Between an employer, a group of employers or one
    or more employers organizations, on the one
    hand, and
  • One ore more representative workers
    organizations, or in the absence of such
    organizations, representatives of the workers,
    duly elected and authorized by them in accordance
    with national laws and regulations, on the other

Recognition
  • Identify parties (employer(s) and trade union(s)
  • CBA is binding parties and employees
  • Supercedes previous CBA (articles)
  • Parties will establish a protocol which governs
    cba procedures, including information provisions

Job Classification
  • There will be a system to evaluate jobs
  • Evaluations and their revisions are being done
    jointly by management and trade unions

Wages

Transport
  • The employer will provide or pay an allowance for
    transport of employees to and from the place of
    work.
  • The employer will compensate for the of private
    vehicles for official use.
  • In case the employee uses a company car for his
    work, he is allowed to use the car for private
    travel. The employer will secure appropriate
    insurance coverage.

OSH
  • The employer will provide a risk free working
    environment.
  • There will be an occupational and health
    committee, composed of management and workers
    representatives, who have free access to all
    workplaces for supervision.
  • The committee will receive all information it
    deems necessary to carry out its task.
  • The employer will arrange for constant training
    on OSH, the implementation of it will be the
    responsibility of the trade union.
  • Special protective gear.

Welfare
  • The employer shall introduce and maintain welfare
    measures, in line with proposals from the Welfare
    Committee, composed of a representation of
    workers, as per Appendix ..

Privacy
  • The employer will be responsible to protect
    individual privacy, in line with Appendix ..

Union-management relations
  • The employer will provide facilities, including
    funds for trade union education, for trade union
    functioning within the company.
  • The employer will provide the trade union
    representative with all information about the
    company which is relevant to enable the union to
    represent the workers interests.
