When Enoch was sixty-five years old, he had
Methuselah. Enoch walked steadily with God. After
he had Methuselah, he lived another 300 years,
having more sons and daughters. Enoch lived a
total of 365 years. Enoch walked steadily with
God. And then one day he was simply gone God

• God SPEAKS to you regarding His purposes for your
  life.
• Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning

• 2. Your RELATIONSHIP is the key to hearing Gods
  voice.
• God will give me a miraculous sign.
• Then I will know God has spoken to me.
• Out of an intimate relationship with
• God, I will recognize Gods voice.
• When I learn and follow the correct
• formula, I will hear God speaking.
• I can open the Bible, pick out a verse
• that I want to use, and claim that I have
• a Word from God for my circumstance.

Your RELATIONSHIP is the key to hearing Gods
voice. "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does
not enter by the door into the fold of the sheep,
but climbs up some other way, he is a thief and a
robber. But he who enters by the door is a
shepherd of the sheep. To him the doorkeeper
opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls
his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he
puts forth all his own, he goes ahead of them,
and the sheep follow him because they know his
voice. I am the good shepherd, and I know My own
and My own know Me. John 102-4, 14

3. God speaks by the HOLY SPIRIT. "But the
Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will
send in My name, He will teach you all things,
and bring to your remembrance all that I said to
you. John 1426

God speaks by the HOLY SPIRIT A. Through the
BIBLE. Your word is a lamp to my feet and a
light to my path. Psalm 119105   All Scripture
is inspired by God and profitable for teaching,
for reproof, for correction, for training in
righteousness so that the man of God may be
adequate, equipped for every good work.

• The Holy Spirit uses Gods Word to
• reveal Gods will to you
• I read the Word of God
• The Spirit of God takes the Word and reveals
  truth.
• I adjust my life to the truth of God.
• I obey Him.
• God works in and through me to accomplish his
  purposes.

B. Through PRAYER It was at this time that He
went off to the mountain to pray, and He spent
the whole night in prayer to God. And when day
came, He called His disciples to Him and chose
twelve of them, whom He also named as
apostlesSimon, whom He also named Peter, and
Andrew his brother and James and John and
Philip and Bartholomew and Matthew and Thomas

• God speaks through prayer
• God moves me to pray.
• The Holy Spirit uses the Word of God to reveal
  Gods will.
• I pray in the Spirit and agree with the will of
  God.
• I look and listen for further confirmation.
• I obey
• I see God work!

C. Through CIRCUMSTANCES. Then Mordecai told
them to reply to Esther, "Do not imagine that you
in the king's palace can escape any more than all
the Jews. For if you remain silent at this time,
relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews
from another place and you and your father's
house will perish. And who knows whether you have
not attained royalty for such a time as this?"
Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai, And
thus I will go in to the king, which is not
according to the law and if I perish, I
perish." Esther 413-16

D. Through the CHURCH. and Apollos began
to speak out boldly in the synagogue. But when
Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him
aside and explained to him the way of God more

but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow
up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even
Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted
and held together by what every joint supplies,
according to the proper working of each
individual part, causes the growth of the body
for the building up of itself in love.

• God speaks to me through the church
• A Church is a Body. It is the Body of Christ.
• Jesus Christ is present as Head of a local
  church.
• God made us mutually interdependent. We need each
  other.
• Apart from the body, I cannot fully know Gods
  will for my relationship to the body.
• Every member needs to be listening to what the
  other members are saying.
• As I function in relationship to the church, I
  depend on others in the church to help me
  understand Gods will.
