Summary of Transfer Credit
  • The total credits posted indicates what has been
evaluated and may not yet include all or the
final count of transfer credits. Credits on
repeated courses or courses with failing grades
are not factored in the total transfer credit
    count.
  • Transfer credits taken in progress or missing
their final grades are listed with a grade of TI
    (Transfer In-progress). Official transcripts with
the final grades must be submitted to Chapman's
Office of the Registrar to complete the
evaluation on the pending transfer credits. If a
transfer course is dropped or withdrawn,
unofficial documentation may be accepted to
remove the pending transfer credit from the
    student's record.
  • Students should resolve any outstanding TI grades
as soon as possible. Pending transfer credits may
impact educational planning and may result in
miscalculation of the student's remaining total
    credits.
