3Project Knowledge Management
- Organisations are realising how important it is
to "know what they know" and be able to make
maximum - use of the knowledge. This knowledge resides in
many different places such as databases,
knowledge - bases, filing cabinets and peoples' heads and are
distributed right across the organisation. All
too often - one part of an organisation repeats work of
another part simply because it is impossible to
keep track - of, and make use of, knowledge in other parts.
So, organisation needs to know what their
knowledge - Assets are and how to manage and make use of
these assets to get maximum return. -
- Therefore, Knowledge management involves the
identification and analysis of available and
required - knowledge assets and knowledge asset related
processes, and the subsequent planning and
control of - actions to develop both the assets and the
processes so as to fulfil organisational
objectives. -
- The aim of the project is to share among
participating companies and also learn from
companies which - has successfully practiced Knowledge Management
(KM) in area like -
- How to create a culture that believe in knowledge
management (KM) ? - (2) Who are involved in KM in organisation
and their respective role ? - (3) How is KM align to business strategy ?
- (4) What is the KM plan/strategy ?
- (5) How is KM linked to business results?
What kind of suitable KPI to use ?
