2Swami Vivekananda ES
- Swami Vivekananda Educational Society (Regd.) was
started in 1970 in order to spread the message of
Man-Making Education as envisaged by Swami
Vivekananda, the illustrious patriotsaint of
India. Swami Vivekananda Vidyashala High School
was started under the auspices of the society in
1971. The school started with 48 students has now
more than 330 students, studying in different
classes. -
- The Primary school was started in 1989 to provide
a strong base to the High School. More than 300
students are studying in Primary Nursery
Classes. English Medium Classes were started in
1991 to attract the cream of student poplars to
the school.
3Goals
- The school is trying to educate the poorest of
society. In addition to providing an education,
the school also provides lunch to 120 needy
students. - Funding Request 3500
- Annapoorna fund to pay for the mid day meals for
150 children - 150 children X Rs. 5/meal X 200 days Rs. 150,000

- Bal Kutir (1990) a home for children 28 kids.
- Sai Shiksha Sansthan (1991) English medium CBSE
school in Vazidpur ( 15km from Noida) 300 kids. - Sai Bal Sansar non-formal education/healthcare
80 kids. - Vocational Training Center (1992) dairy,
tailoring, and carpentry located in Noida. lt---
WAH Proposal Related - Poor condition of building obstacle for any
expansion plans. - Land partially purchased from Govt. (2002).
- Construction plans on hold due to lack of funds
needed to purchase remaining land.
6WAH 2004 Proposal
- New infrastructure for vocational training center
- Purchase of land from government ( Rs. 12.5
lakhs). - Dismantling/Cleaning of existing structure ( Rs.
1 lakh). - Construction of new 2.5 floors building ( Rs. 1
lakh). - WAH funding 28 of total funds that Sai Kripa
needs. - Promise of matching funds from other
organizations.
