Mount Kenya National Park

• Mount Kenya is located about an hours drive away
  from the near by city of Nairobi
• At 5 199m, it is the second highest peak in
  Africa
• An ancient volcano, during whose period of
  activity was thought to have risen to 6 500m
• 10 Major peaks
• Highest peak is known as Batian
