So, now, WHAT KIND OF TEAM ARE WE BUILDING?
  • First of all we have to find a team, not just any
team thoughand thats what you are doing HERE
on this call-- even if you are the only one on
YOUR team right nowthat means that you just came
in and there is no one below you yetstill you
are serious and that is why you are on this call.
And everyone on this call starts out that way.
    With NO ONE UNDER THEM.
  • Let your team leaders save you a lot of worry,
frustration and headaches learn from them and
LISTEN TO THEM. And here are some strategies
    worth implementing
  • Dont go after the broke wouldnt you rather
have IBOs who can afford to work this business ?
And do you realize that it takes 24, 99s to
equal the BV of ONE E-plan? Now I am not
discounting 99s at all. Some of our 99s have
become E-plans. But I can tell you right now
that EVERY ONE of the Silvers or Bronzes on this
call came in at an E-plan. Its just the way it
stacks up. So our experience is that E-plans are
more serious. Faster. And they can because they
    have some disposable income.
  • Dont go after the unemployed they are usually
looking for a JOB. But wait!! Can the unemployed
work this business? ABSOLUTELY!!! Some people
BECOME unemployed ON PURPOSE to work this
business. They want to work it full time. But
usually they have a spouse who is still bringing
    in the bacon.
  • Dont go after someone you know is lazy. They
will have a work ethic learning curve to
    un-teachit will wear you out
  • And DO NOT buy anyone into the company. We are
NOT a welfare system and we cannot help anyone
else until we can help ourselves. So get your
business going and then help all the people out
there you can because YOU can afford to do it.
  • Now, we are NOT saying that there arent
exceptions to these rulesbut they are rare. WE
KNOW. Being unemployed or broke can be a great
motivator. Some people get tired of being
    lazybut there is caution.
  • Choose wisely who you allow on your team and
especially those first TWO, one on your left and
    one on your right.
  • Your team members should have compassion, vision,
    and a desire for change
  • Leaders have a major part to play
  • Make your team feel worthwhile

5
Develop Key Partners ie Team Members
  • It wasnt until we could identify key leaders who
had some specific character traits that our team
started to take on a life of its own. Traits
    like
  • Commitment
  • Character
  • Vision
  • Entrepreneurial flair
  • The greatest asset we have is the people working
    along side of us.
  • Work hard alongside your team. Set the pace.
  • Make it fun! Lets bring back the fun into our
businesses. Happy is the man and woman who work
and play and dont know the difference. Tania
    over to you.

Some Business Growth Items
  • Start a business slush fundand stick with it.
This is money that flows into your business that
you decide to set asideeven if it is just 10.
Thats 10 that will buy a care pak or several
story tapes. This way you will have money when it
comes time to spend it on tools and events
  • Learn to love the phone. Pick it up. It is your
FRIEND. As a team we are starting to understand
the value of the Lifeline and 3 way calls.
  • Dress this one is going to ouch some of usas
we get lazy and lax about it.
  • But remember that business attire is the way to
dress when presenting our winning opportunity to
folks. They will wonder what in the heck you
have been up to getting all gussied up.
  • So what is business attire? It is coat and tie
for men, preferably white shirts, although some
of you will be laughing as we know how you feel
about white shirts. No caps guys!!! They just
dont go with that suit you should be wearing
    anyway.!
  • And ladies, you should wear a jacket of some sort
and nice pants or a suit. We wear suits. It was
foreign to my wardrobeI can tell you. Im a
velour and anything soft kind of gal with a
splash of gypsy rover thrown in. Anything funky
draws me like a magnet. So this was a stretch
    for me, and for Tania.
  • You dont have to spend a fortune. Go to the
thrift store and get some duds to tie you over
until you can afford to spend what you want
  • Last summer when I was in OK for those 8 weeks, I
went to the thrift stores because I was getting
sick of my suits and didnt want to spend a lot
more on clothes just for the sake of variety. So
we dont have to spend a lot of money to look
    nice and professional.
  • Ladies put on some makeup. No less than some
lipstick, please. Get your nails done. Lets
get out of our comfort zones and get professional
and ADD VALUE to our already valuable winning
    opportunity.

Hiding behind the computer
  • I wonder how many of us like to work behind the
computer and call it part of our 7-10 hours a
week? Did you know that no where in the success
formula of our system does it say that working
behind the computer and checking our back office
to see if anyone new has come into our business
or checking our volume history is part of our
    7-10 hours a week?
  • When I do, I know I better find another 7-10
hours to do the necessary phone calling and
business building that it will take.
  • Lets not fool ourselves into believing that that
is business building. Lets get real and honest
and do the success formula, working the warm
market, conference calls, 3 footing, and STP.

11
SUCCESS FORMULA
  • 7 10 Hours Each Week
  • Minimums
  • 2-4 Hours on Conference Calls
  • 2-4 Hours Contacting/Inviting STP (Share The
    Plan)
  • 2-4 Hours Follow-Up Follow-Through
  • STP 15 -18 Times Monthly
  • 1 PBR (Private Business Reception) Each Week
  • 1 BB (Business Briefing) Each Week
  • 1 HMG Training Each Month

12
Our Motivation tonight
  • Our productivity is the lifeblood of our
businesses. Just getting our two and helping our
    new IBOs get their two.
  • Keep doing what you are doing, keep doing what
your sponsor shows you to do and dont give up
    the dream
  • And dont let anyone else squash YOUR dream. Our
mates dont have to agree with us. Our siblings
dont either. Neither do our children or best
    friends.
  • It matters that we have an idea and we pursue it
    with a passion.

13
Motivation by ST FRANCIS
  • Start by doing whats necessary, then whats
possible, and suddenly you are doing the
    impossible.
  • To Dream the Impossible
  • This business is SO possible! Just start right
there doing what is necessary. Just 7-10 hours a
    week of the Success Formula
  • Suddenly you are doing what might have seemed
    impossible.
