The intake workload page will allow you to view
all the various types of intakes that have been
created. Intakes will display on the workload
page until it has been linked to a case for
assignment.

• Intake Workload
• Intakes can be filtered by their status
• In progress
• Completed
• Screened in
• Screened out
• Returned
• Ready to be linked to a case

SACWIS Intake Workload
Intake Workload If you do want to create a new
intake, you simply click Add Intake

Basic Tab The intake is categorized and details
of the intake are recorded. Information is
grouped by Reporter Participants Additional
information Allegations and Out of Home Care
Basic Tab Like all SACWIS narrative information,
the Intake narrative can be spell checked at any
point.

The screening decision
The response time for initiation

• The screening decision maker can quickly document
  any questions or issues that involve the
  screening decision process and return the Intake
  to the screener for review, clarification or
  correction.

• The Decision tab of the Intake component records
  the following important components for the Intake
  Screening Decisions

assessment activities of the new Intake.
SACWIS Intake Link Case
Once Screening Decision is made, the new
screened-in Intake can be linked to an existing
case.

It is at this point that a case reference person
is also identified. The case reference person
name will be reflected as the case name

When creating a new case, the system displays the
list of intake participants for selection for
case members
Or a new case can be created to track the
investigation of the new Intake.

SACWIS Case Workload
The Intake has now been linked to a case and
assigned. The case appears on caseworkers
desktop.

SACWIS Intake History List
Now that the Intake has been linked to a case and
assigned to a case worker, it will no longer
appear on the Intake Workload but on the assigned
caseworkers desktop. All intakes that have been
linked to the case will appear on the Intake List
Page within the specified case.

Law Enforcement Contact
If you request assistance from Law Enforcement
regarding an intake, you can document that
information in SACWIS.

Not only can you capture the Date you requested
the assistance of Law Enforcement, but their
response to your request, the officer assigned to
the case, and the results of their involvement.

Intake Waiver Request
You can request a waiver or extension of intake
requirements in SACWIS and submit that request
for approval.

You will receive an email notification when your
request has been approved or declined.
Waiver Approved !!
Your explanation and justification goes here.
You can select the Justification Type and
provide the Reasons to support the waiver before
you submit that request for approval.
