Aim of the Electronic Voting Conference Series

• Bring together e-voting specialist out of
  academia, industry and administration to discuss
• Discuss all forms of electronic voting
• Formulate the interdisciplinary issues involved
• Discuss security requirements and testing
• Report on practical experience in implementing
  and conducting elections with electronic voting
  parts.
• Academic Conference, at least 3 double-blind
  reviews

Outlook

• There is a trend towards electronic voting, but
  several different forms and not uniform
• Learning from the existing experience is needed
  (how many experiments have been conducted)
• Not enough evaluation of effects
• Observation of (remote) e-voting is a task for
  future
• Certification of e-voting systems is crucial but
  further requirements (based on CoE
  recommendations) need to be developped
