- BP as the operator on behalf of its partners in
Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC)
announces that as part of its work programme for
Azeri-Chirag and Deepwater Gunashli (ACG) Full
Field Development (FFD) Produced Water Disposal
(PWD) Project, the Draft Environmental and Social
Impact Assessment (ESIA) Document has been
published and disclosed for public consultation.
Proposed Produced Water Pipeline in Relation To
ACG FFD
The PWD project will construct and install a
pipeline which will transport Produced Water from
Sangachal Terminal to Central Azeri Compression
and Water Injection Platform (CWP) where it will
be reinjected into the Azeri reservoir along with
the Produced Water that is separated offshore.
The ESIA document examines the potential
environmental and social impacts of the
activities, and describes the recommended
mitigation measures. The full document and the
Executive Summary have been produced in Azeri,
Russian and English and placed at locations
advertised in the local press. Copies of the
Executive Summary are also available from BP
office, Main Reception, Villa Petrolea for
collection.

location. You are also invited to attend the
Public Consultation meeting for this project on
20th October, Hyatt Regency Hotel, Baku, 10.30
