The Major

• Begin with the Colleges core liberal arts
  requirements and pre-requisites such as
  Introduction to Psychology and Introduction to
  Political Science.
• First courses in the major include Introduction
  to Social Work, Human Diversity, and Human
  Behavior and the Social Environment.
• Juniors begin the Social Work Practice sequence.
• Field Experience The most valuable and exciting
  aspect of the program. Field placements help
  bridge classroom learning and practice
  experience.
